From its beginning in late September, 1980, founder and host Chopper
McKinnon has featured the best singer-songwriters and performers on the
scene. Since then, Canadian Spaces has been the source of countless
"World Radio Premieres" of new albums and special releases. The show begins
with "40 minutes of uninterrupted folk" and brings recorded music, live
performances and phone interviews to tens of thousands of loyal listeners,
from all corners of the globe.
